- Royal Dental College Iron Hills, Chalissery Palakkad - 679536
The SC/ST cell of the college was established in 2003 with the purpose to empower the SC/ST students in the college. The college takes special interest in facilitating financial support for SC /ST students from government agencies and other sources. The Committee meets 2 times per year and the members of committee are appointed by the Governing council for a term of 3 years.
Objectives:
- The cell monitors the process of receiving, scrutinizing and processing applications from SC/ST students pursuing their UG and PG courses at college
- To implement the reservation policy for SC/ST students in the college, and adhere to the guidelines of the state and central government policies
- To counsel and guide SC/ST students studying at Royal Dental College on various issues and to help them manage academic needs effectively.
- To ensure provisions for an environment where all SC/ST students receive every rights reserved for them at college
- To provide prompt counseling for any grievances arising on account of any untoward incident towards SC/ST students inside the campus.
- To provide a mechanism to redress the grievances of SC/ST students, if any
